The one optional cookie
If — and only if — you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (property G-X107Y88L1P) to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets two cookies, named _ga and _ga_X107Y88L1P, which last about 13 months and identify your browser to Google Analytics; Google processes that data for us. If you decline, or simply never answer the banner, nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time, right here:
Reservations and the chat bubble
Table reservations and the “Ask a question” assistant are provided by Click2Reserve, a third-party booking service. Details you submit when booking — your name, contact details, party size, date and time — go to Click2Reserve, not to this website, and their own privacy terms apply. The assistant sets no cookies just from opening a page here.
The venue-inquiry form
The form on this site does not submit anything to a server of ours. It composes an email in your own email app, addressed to baracaslounge@gmail.com, and you decide whether to send it. What you send is then handled like any other email we receive: we use it to answer you and arrange your event, and we do not share it.
Hosting
The site is served by our hosting provider, Vercel, which keeps the short-lived technical logs any web server keeps (such as IP addresses of requests) to run and secure the service. We set no other cookies and run no other trackers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it — email baracaslounge@gmail.com and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus.
